2. According to whether they are filled, they can be divided into stuffed toys and unfilled toys.
3. According to the different materials used on the surface, they can be divided into plush stuffed toys, velvet stuffed toys, and plush stuffed toys.
4. According to the appearance, they can be divided into stuffed animal toys, equipped with high-intelligent electronics, movements, sound animal toys or dolls, and various festival gift toys.
According to the preferences of consumers, plush toys have the following popular categories:
1. According to the source of the shape, they are divided into animal plush toys and cartoon character plush toys.
2. According to the length of the plush, they are divided into long plush toys and super soft short plush toys.
3. According to the name of the animal, they are divided into plush toy bears, plush toy teddy bears, etc.

Materials
Velboa: The wool surface is soft. Generally, the quality of the wool is poor, but the printed velboa will be slightly tilted. A slight tilt is acceptable.
Plush cloth:
Glossy yarn: Generally, it is shiny. The wool can be divided into positive and negative sides under different light directions. Matt yarn: It is matte, and basically has no positive and negative sides.
Curly plush (rolled wool):
① Curly wool: Most of them are granular wool, lamb wool, or the wool roots are in bundles and rolled up. Usually used to make toys with a more classical taste, the wool length can be up to 15mm; the price is much cheaper than Shanghai-style curly wool.
② Shanghai-style curly wool: Usually the wool length is longer, the curling effect is looser, and there are many styles to choose from.
Notes: 1. The density and weight of the plush, whether it feels smooth (i.e. whether the bottom yarn is exposed, whether the hair surface is upright or lying down); 2. The quality of the original yarn and the quality of the fabric affect the smooth effect; 3. The accuracy of dyeing; 5. The effect of the hair surface in a larger area: whether the hair surface effect is dense, upright, and smooth, whether there are abnormal indentations, wavy lines, messy hair direction and other abnormal phenomena. The above aspects can basically be used to judge the quality.
Velour: Similar to sheared cloth, but the hair length is about 1.5-2mm, and the elasticity is relatively larger than that of sheared cloth; no hair direction.
Polyester cloth: It is divided into ordinary polyester cloth (100% Polyster) and nylon polyester cloth (Nylon), and the ordinary type is usually used. It is easier to make, cut pieces for silk screen printing, and embroidery. In the case of silk screen printing, the length of the hair must be controlled not to be long, otherwise it will be difficult to print, the color will not penetrate easily, and it will fade easily. Nylon nylon cloth is rarely used, and is only used when special products require strong adhesion.
Cotton cloth (100% Cotton): used to make higher-end printed cloth, thicker than T/C cloth.
Felt cloth (Felt): pay attention to thickness and softness and hardness. It is divided into ordinary polyester and acrylic. Ordinary polyester is usually used, which is harder and about 1.5mm thick. Acrylic is very soft, with loose texture and easy to rot. It is often used in gifts and rarely used in toys.
PU leather: It is a kind of polyester, not real leather. Note that the thickness of the fabric will be different depending on the base fabric.
Note: All toys cannot use PVC materials, because PVC contains excessive toxic and deadly elements, so it is important to note that the material cannot be of PVC nature, and be very careful.
Velvet: There are several grades. The difference from electronic velvet is that it is softer and the price is relatively high.
Flocking material (flocking material): divided into single-sided and double-sided. If the base fabric of single-sided flocking is different, the thickness and hardness are different, and the price is also different.
Washed cloth, wrinkled cloth (Nylon Taffeta): The cloth has wrinkles. Since it can be washed, some products will use it, but it is difficult to sew.
Towel cloth: Cotton: The loops are high and appear rough. When used on toys, the base cloth should be thick and dense to prevent the cotton from running out.
Methods for maintaining plush toys
1. Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight and keep the inside and outside of the toys dry.2. Keep the room clean to reduce dust as much as possible, and use clean, dry, and soft tools to clean the surface of the toys frequently.
3. For the sake of health, plush toys should be consumed and cleaned regularly.
4. After the cleaned toys are dried, use a clean comb or similar tools to comb the fur neatly in the direction of the fur to make it smooth and beautiful.
5. Twist the eyes, nose, and mouth of the plush toy to see if they are firm. If the tension of the small parts on the toy does not meet the national standards, it is an unqualified product.
6. For wool/cloth or dolls equipped with high-intelligence electronics, cores, and audio, be sure to remove the electronic components (some are not waterproof) or batteries before washing to prevent water damage.
7. Check whether the internal organs of plush toys are clean and hygienic. The fillings of unqualified toys include discarded plastics, fiber ropes, paper scraps, and even black-hearted cotton that is expressly prohibited by the state.
8. Simple and easy sterilization and disinfection methods. You can use a high-power steam iron to gently iron the fluff back and forth, which also has a certain sterilization and decontamination effect.
9. The key to washing plush toys at home: For toys with few small parts, you can use 30-40℃ warm water for hand washing or machine washing. Neutral laundry detergent can be used for washing. For plush toys, cashmere detergent will be better.
10. How to make toys less likely to get dirty and extend their life. When buying toys, never discard the paper box or plastic bag to prepare for packaging and dust removal during storage. In areas with humid climates, to prevent toys from getting damp, desiccant can be placed when storing them. Stuffed toys should be stored as far as possible to avoid backlogs to prevent deformation and damage.
11. When cleaning, necessary measures can be taken according to the size. For small toys, tape the parts that are afraid of wear and tear first, put them directly into the washing machine for soft washing, spin drying, hang them in a cool place to dry, and pat the toys intermittently to make the fur and stuffing fluffy and soft. For large toys, find the filling seams, cut the stitches, and take out the filling (acrylic cotton). Special parts can be left unfilled (to better maintain the appearance). Tape the parts that are afraid of wear and tear. Wash and dry the outer skin, then put the stuffing into the toy skin, shape it, and sew it.
